Dwayne Johnson lends voice to THRILLING LSU Tigers hype video ahead of NCAA football final

The LSU Tigers romped to a 42-25 win over the Clemson Tigers to clinch the NCAA championship. Dwayne Johnson was among the fans backing the LSU Tigers.

It was showtime at Mercedes-Benz Superdome on Monday night (Tuesday morning IST). LSU Tigers, led by Heisman Trophy winner Joe Burrow registered a 42-25 win over Clemson Tigers. While win for LSU Tigers may have sparked bedlam, Dwayne Johnson grabbed headlines even before triumph of LSU Tigers.

NCAA Football: Dwayne Johnson's unreal LSU hype video leaves fans in awe

Dwayne Johnson voiced his support for LSU Tigers before match-up at Mercedes-Benz Superdome. In LSU hype video, self-proclaimed 'Most Electrifying Man in All of Entertainment' lent his voice to narration of story of LSU Tigers' path to finals. While LSU hype video set Twitter alight before game, an interesting common thread between LSU Tigers and Dwayne ' Rock' Johnson went somewhat unticed.

Ed Orgeron is current head coach of LSU Tigers. However, Orgeron also had a stint in Miami in early 90s. LSU Tigers head coach was defensive line coach in Miami. Interestingly, he was also man that recruited Rock to Miami back n. Dwayne Johnson pointed out this fact in same tweet as release of LSU hype video.

Joe Burrow capped off his Heisman Trophy-winning season by throwing six touchdowns at Mercedes-Benz Superdome on night. Burrow was dominant against Clemson Tigers, who were looking for ir third title in four years. likes of Joe Burrow, Clyde Edwards and Ja'Marr Chase, however, had or ideas.
