It was all change at the top of the leaderboard on the final day of the Rally of Turkey on Sunday as a series of punctures hampered the progress of six of the top seven drivers on Stage 9. The only one to escape the carnage on the rock-strewn Cetibeli course was Toyota's Elfyn Evans and the Welshman took full advantage.

Overnight leader Thierry Neuville, second-placed Sebastien Loeb and third-placed Sebastien Ogier all ground to a halt and Evans suddenly found himself with an overall lead of 46.9 seconds over his French teammate and 6-time champon Ogier. The second stage of the morning saw Neuville fight back, but he remains 42.2 seconds off the pace going into the event's final two stages.

Evans appears set for a second win of the season and a single point lead over Ogier at the top of the championship standings if the placings remain the same.
