Aman Sehrawat recently met TMKOC fame and actor Dilip Joshi, who portrays the character of Jethalal. The Bronze medalist wrestler has previously revealed that he is a great fan of the comedy show Tarak Mehta ka Oolta Chashma and spent some time with the veteran actor. Sehrawat took to the social media platform Instagram to express his delight in meeting the senior actor. They also exchanged hampers, which included packets of Jethalal's favourite Gujarati breakfast delicacy, jalebi and fafda.
"Today I felt great meeting Jethalal (Dilip Joshiji). Seeing these always makes me laugh and happiness in "Tarak Mehta Ka Ulta Chasma", thank you so much for visiting me," Aman Sehrawat captioned the post on the social media platform.
During the Paris Olympics campaign, Aman Sehrawat expressed that he is a huge fan of the popular comedy show and often prefers to watch it at the time when he is not training. The Indian wrestler was in the race to bag the ultimate prize but faced a tough loss in the semifinal round against Japan's Rei Higuchi. But Aman put up a dominant display at the bronze match and clinched the medal.
Sehrawat does not intend to stop his quest for medals, as the freestyle wrestler will do whatever it takes to prepare himself for the 2026 Asian Games and the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics. Aman is the sole athlete from India who bagged a medal in freestyle wrestling at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
India delivered their second-best performance at the Paris Olympics after winning six medals — five bronze and one silver — in 2024.
