Fernando Alonso said that he will carefully study rules when y are anunced officially. This is because he feels that re will be an opportunity for more than just one team to win and him making a comeback would be a real option.

Fernando Alonso - What led to his exit?

38-year-old left F1 at end of 2018, last year as he attributed decision to dominance by top teams and predictability of races as major reasons. But in 2021, he believes that those things could be changed and it is a good opportunity for him.

Ever since his exit, Alonso has focused on endurance racing and Indianapolis 500, which he perhaps failed to qualify for this year.
