Man United fan allegedly racially abused Liverpool's Alexander-Arnold

Manchester United played hosts to Liverpool on October 20. As Marcus Rashford put hosts ahead in first half, something ugly was brewing close to players' executive boxes in Stretford End. A Manchester United fan is alleged to have hurled racist abuse at Liverpool's right-back, Trent Alexander-Arld. 21-year England international was said to have been victim of racist abuse from a fan during first half of game.

abuser in question was promptly ejected by authorities after some fans who were disgusted by vile abuse directed at Liverpool player brought issue to attention of stewards. A Manchester United spokesperson said that issue was being investigated as a priority. If found guilty, person in question will be banned for life from Old Trafford.

A club statement from Manchester United said that racism and all similar forms of discrimination would t be tolerated by club, and such issues do t reflect values of club. Greater Manchester Police were also made aware of situation. United's swift action was welcomed by Liverpool. Liverpool furr went on to say that y support strongest possible action that is bound to be taken against anyone found to be responsible for incident.
