Evra reveals Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale almost agreed to join Man United in 2013
Sir Alex Ferguson told Patrice Evra he wanted to Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale at Man United to win the Champions League before retiring in 2013.

Manchester United's legendary manr Sir Alex Ferguson wanted to reunite with Cristia Ronaldo at Old Trafford in 2013, just two weeks before anuncing his retirement. This is according to Man United great Patrice Evra, who also claimed that Sir Alex Ferguson was keeping a close eye on Gareth Bale when Welshman was at Tottenham Hotspur. While speaking on UTD Podcast, 38-year-old Evra revealed that Sir Alex Ferguson planned to win Champions League with Cristia Ronaldo and Gareth Bale at Manchester United. Scotsman alrey enjoyed 26 years of success with Red Devils, winning 13 Premier League titles and two Champions Leagues. However, Evra mitted that a groundbreaking deal was on cards in 2013 as Sir Alex Ferguson was '99 percent sure' of re-signing Cristia Ronaldo and bringing Gareth Bale in from rth London at time.

Evra quoted Sir Alex Ferguson and explained that Ferguson h planned for arrival of two superstar wingers at atre of Dreams in a bid to win a third Champions League title. In summer of 2013, Sir Alex Ferguson anunced his retirement after winning a total of 38 trophies in 26 years.
