Trent Alexander-Arnold injury update: Reds boss Jurgen Klopp has confirmed that the right-back won't feature in England's international games during November.

Liverpool right-back Trent Alexander-Arld has handed Jurgen Klopp ar defensive injury heache following 1-1 draw against Man City at Etih on Sunday. 22-year-old defender went down clutching his calves in  second half and was replaced by James Milner. Although Reds are still waiting to discover extent of injury sustained by Alexander-Arld, manr Jurgen Klopp has confirmed that right-back will miss forthcoming international games for England in vember.

Trent Alexander-Arld calf injury: Right-back needed to be replaced in second half against Man City

It was just after hour mark that Alexander-Arld seemed to have picked up a calf injury as young defender went down without a challenge. Replays showed that Liverpool star might have pulled a muscle in his calf while running back to defend an attack by Man City, leaving Jurgen Klopp and Liverpool staff worried. Trent's concerned teammates soon gared around him before medical staff were called onto field of play. 

medics were n seen informing Klopp that Alexander-Arld was in condition to continue playing remainder of game. Veteran English midfielder James Milner, who me his 750th competitive appearance and his 550th in Premier League, replaced Trent at right back in 63rd minute as Liverpool mand to fend off Man City for remainder of game. Alexander-Arld has alrey got three assists in all competitions for Liverpool this campaign as recorded most assists (14) for Liverpool last season.

Jurgen Klopp provides Trent Alexander-Arld injury update following draw against Man City

Following game, Liverpool he coach Jurgen Klopp revealed that Alexander-Arld will play part in England’s upcoming fixtures during international break. German said, "He (Trent) will be out for England duty this month. We don't kw problem but he will have a scan tomorrow and n we will see." England will face Republic of Ireland on Thursday before ir UEFA Nations League games against Iceland and Belgium, but Alexander-Arld is expected to play part for Three Lions in any of those fixtures.

Alexander-Arld becomes  latest member of Liverpool backline to pick up an injury, with centre-back Virgil van Dijk alrey ruled out for rest of season with knee ligament dam. Meanwhile, stand-in defender Fabinho is also on sidelines with a hamstring problem he picked up during  Champions League win against Midtjylland last month. However, Liverpool were gl to have centre-back Joel Matip return to action and play full 90 minutes against City.

Liverpool started game at Etih on front foot and took le through Mo Salah's penalty in 13th minute after Sio Mane was brought down in box. City, however, equalised just after half-hour mark through Gabriel Jesus. hosts n h a great chance to take le just before half-time after being awarded a controversial penalty but Kevin De Bruyne missed spot.
