Barcelona boss Koeman pins blame on VAR after humiliating El Clasico defeat vs Real Madrid
Barcelona manager Ronald Koeman has slammed the use of VAR after his side's humiliating El Clasico defeat against Real Madrid on Saturday.

Barcelona manr Ronald Koeman could t survive Real Madrid's spectacular display at Camp u, suffering his first El Clasico defeat on Saturday. game was marred by Video Assistant Referee (VAR) controversy when Real Madrid skipper Sergio Ramos was awarded a penalty in second half. Koeman didn't seem to hold back after that incident and has slammed use of techlogy in LaLiga after game.

El Clasico result ends in Real Madrid's favour

Croatian international, in 90th minute, in a splendid display of calmness and composure, struck past Neto, ensuring that El Clasico result ended in Los Blancos' favour for second successive time.

Koeman questions use of VAR in Barcelona vs Real Madrid clash
But defeat did t go down well with manr Koeman. Dutch tactician, who was on sidelines for his first manrial El Clasico, questioned use of VAR while speaking to Barca TV. "Every decision goes against us. In five games re have been ne in our favour. re was Messi penalty against Sevilla that was t given and red card against Getafe."

Koeman questioned penalty awarded to Real Madrid, insisting that such incidents are rmal in penalty area. He does t believe it was right decision, asserting that VAR techlogy has worked against Barcelona. He also took to Twitter to state, "We did t deserve to lose game yesterday." He described penalty controversial, terming it as deciding factor in game.
