According to Spanish outlet El Mundo, Barcelona were alrey under extreme financial distress before coronavirus lockdown. club have w lost on revenue due to closing down of merchandise stores as well as club museum. Barcelona have subscribed to Spanish government’s ERTE scheme that seeks state aid in paying off workers who have been laid off by club.
