Lebanon explosion: Barcelona, Man United, Man City, Arsenal send out message of solidarity

Barcelona, Man United and Man City send out messages of support for Lebanon after a devastating explosion rocked the city on Tuesday, killing 78.

Beirut, capital of Leban was rocked by a disastrous explosion on Tuesday, leaving world appalled. city was shaken by explosion which began with a fire at a port in capital, later exploding into a mushroom cloud. Football clubs across Europe were also startled with Leban explosion and sent out messs of solidarity to those affected.

Barcelona's mess of support after Leban explosion 

Spanish giants Barcelona, who have been preparing for Champions League clash against Napoli, took to Twitter to express ir solidarity with those affected by Leban explosion. club tweeted: "Our condolences and support to all those affected by explosion in Beirut. Our hearts are with you." tweet by Barcelona was accompanied by a Leban flag with a black solidarity ribbon attached.

Man United, Man City extend support 

Besides Barcelona, Premier League clubs also sent out messs of support for middle eastern country. Man United tweeted, "Our thoughts and prayers go out to everyone affected by recent explosion in Beirut, Leban. Stay strong ", furr followed by a tweet from Man City as well. Etih-based outfit stated that ir thoughts are with those affected by Leban explosion. A similar mess of support was sent out by Tottenham Hotspur and ir London rivals Arsenal as well.

Leban explosion: 78 people de, more than 4,000 injured 

President of Leban Michel Aoun spoke on  trdy after news of dire incident reverberated all around world. He revealed that 2,750 tonnes of ammonium nitrate were stored without any safety measures in a warehouse for last six years. Currently, death toll stands at 78 people, while an estimated 4,000 people have sustained injuries in horrendous explosion. 

president has convened a cabinet meeting on Wednesday and has suggested that a two-week state of emergency will be declared. A three-day period of mourning, beginning Wednesday, has been declared by government. president has also anunced that government will release 100 billion lira ($66 million) in emergency funds. George Kettani, he of Leban's Red Cross described Leban explosion a 'huge catastrophe', suggesting that re are victims and casualties everywhere.
