Barcelona reveal Dani Alves' jersey number after sensational return to La Liga; WATCH

La Liga giants Barcelona anunced emotional return of Dani Alves to club this past Saturday, with 38-year old's contract lasting until end of current season. While Brazilian will join training next week, he will t be able to play until January.

With Alves having signed for Catalan giants, he officially became first signing of newly appointed coach Xavi Hernandez. Brazilian right-back has been a free nt since leaving Sao Paulo in September and will have loads of experience to provide to current youth in team. Camp u outfit revealed his jersey number and shirt on Tuesday, with full details of his transfer expected to be revealed on Wednesday during official presentation.

Barcelona release club statement to anunce Dani Alves' return

Via an official statement through  club website, Barcelona anunced return of Dani Alves.

ir statement read, "FC Barcelona and Dani Alves have reached an agreement in principle for player to join football first team for remainder of current season. Brazilian will be joining training from next week but will t be able to play until January.

Dani Alves excited to return to Barcelona

Dani Alves took to his Instagram handle and put out an emotional post for Barcelona fans. post read, "I am one of you. I don't kw how long dream will last, but may it feel eternal as long as it lasts!! See you soon in place that fascinates me most, with same excitement as first time and with same desire to rebuild ' BEST CLUB IN WORLD.'"
