Chasing the top spot in the ongoing Serie A season, Juventus find themselves in a very unfamiliar situation. The Italian giants won their last match against Hellas Verona with a really small margin. The Bianconeri will face Brescia, who have had a good start to the Italian Serie A 2019-20 season. Brescia recently claimed their second victory by defeating Udinese, and they are currently in the 11th spot on the table.

The last time these two sides faced each other, Alessandro del Piero was still playing for Juventus as he was one of the two scorers for Juventus. In total, these teams have faced each other five times. Juventus have won on three occasions, while one ended in a draw. The only time Brescia defeated Juventus was when they faced each other in a Serie B match back in 2007.

Juventus will look to take an early lead against Brescia, as they look to match the levels of Inter Milan and Napoli this season in the league. However, Brescia will look to once again repeat history and defeat the defending Serie A champions. The match is scheduled to be played at the Stadio Mario Rigamonti on Wednesday. The match will start at 12:30 AM IST and will be live on the Sony Ten network.

According to an Italian football news website, Juventus star player, Cristiano Ronaldo won’t be playing the upcoming match. The reports revealed that the forward will be rested. Talking about Ronaldo’s fitness, manager Maurizio Sarri revealed that Ronaldo had little muscle fatigue on Sunday. However, but it is quite normal after three games in seven days. Sarri could possibly rotate his players in the upcoming Serie A fixture.
