While Frank Lampard's Chelsea have picked mselves up after 4-0 defeat to Manchester United on opening day, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's Manchester United have fizzled out after impressing in ir first game in Premier League this season.

Parity lasted even after 120 minutes of action in Champions League final in 2008. Frank Lampard did t depart from Moscow with happy feelings, as Chelsea ended on losing side in final. John Terry went on to say that his slip up during penalty shootout still keeps former Blues captain awake at night.

Premier League, February 2012

John Terry and Ashley Cole meant that Blues had to be wary of a resurgent United side. ir absence, however, did t show in opening minutes. Chelsea raced to a two-goal lead in fixture. Wayne Rooney, however, came to fore, scoring two penalties in of 11 minutes to bring United back in game. Javier Chicharito Hernandez netted final goal in game, heading in a cross from Ryan Giggs.

Premier League, October 2012

Two sending offs and an offside winner meant that Manchester United's trip to Stamford Bridge was fruitful this time around. Fernando Torres was sent off, after being booked for a dive. Branislav Ivavic was also sent off with a second yellow. Javier Hernandez once again popped with winner in fixture.

League Cup, October 2012

Three days after defeat at Stamford Bridge, Chelsea once again welcomed Manchester United in Round of 16 in League Cup. In what would go down as one of greatest fixtures to have been played in tournament's history, Chelsea emerged winners this time around. Goals from David Luiz, Eden Hazard, Daniel Sturridge, Gary Cahill and Ramires meant that Roberto di Matteo got one over his Premier League rivals on night.

Jose Mourinho returned to Stamford Bridge for first time as manr of ir rivals, United. If Portuguese expected a pleasant return, it turned out to be exact opposite.
