Carlo Ancelotti Admits Jude Bellingham's Splendid Debut Season At Real Madrid Was A Big Surprise

Jude Bellingham enjoyed one of the most remarkable debut seasons a player has ever enjoyed with Real Madrid. While, there are some players who take their time to adapt to the pressure that surrounds them at Real Madrid. Jude Bellingham simply hit the ground running and played like he had been playing there for years. 

Jude Bellingham's meteoric rise at Real Madrid at just 20 years of age took everyone by surprise and as it turns out his manager at Real Madrid Carlo Ancelotti admitted that even he was surprised by the Englishman's form. 

Carlo Ancelotti admits Jude Bellingham's form was surprising 

Carlo Ancelotti has begun preparing the Real Madrid squad for pre-season as they plan their travels to USA for their pre-season tour. 

Ahead of Real Madrid's pre-season begins, manager Carlo Ancelotti reflected on an exceptional season where Real Madrid won the La Liga and Champions League double. 

Speaking about the importance of Jude Bellingham in the squad, Carlo Ancelotti admitted that Jude Bellingham has the Champion DNA inside him but even the Italian didn't think he can pull up his weight this quickly and this well at the Santiago Bernabeu. 

“Jude Bellingham has been a surprise, but he is genetically a champion. The champion is such by genetics, training adds but it’s the genetics that makes the champion,” said Carlo Ancelotti.

Jude Bellingham is currently on vacation after he guided England to the final of Euro 2024 but fell short at the final hurdle and lost to Spain. 

In his first season at Real Madrid, Jude Bellingham was named the La Liga Player of the season, he won the UEFA Champions League, La Liga and Spanish Super Cup. Being a midfielder Jude Bellingham scored a whopping number of 23 goals and provided 19 assists in 43 appearances.

Jude Bellingham will miss Real Madrid's pre season tour in USA to rest and recover after the Euros but will soon join the camp and is expected to be ready for Real Madrid's UEFA Super Cup match against Atalanta.
