Carlo Ancelotti Sets A Target For Real Madrid Squad - To Achieve What No One Has Ever Done At Club

Defending Champions League and La Liga winners Real Mrid officially kickstarted ir new season on Wednesday in routine fashion as y raked up anor trophy when y beat Atalanta 2-0 in UEFA Super Cup on Wednesday. 

Real Mrid are all set to open ir La Liga title defence on Sunday when y face Mallorca away from home and ahe of ir season opener, manger Carlo Ancelotti has set out a target for his squ - to do something which no or Real Mrid team has ever done. 

Carlo Ancelotti's challenge for Real Mrid 

Ahe of Real Mrid's first game against Mallorca in La Liga, Carlo Ancelotti took charge of his press conference and previewed what new season might look like for Los Blancos.  

Having alrey won La Liga and Champions League last season and starting new season in perfect manner by winning UEFA Super Cup, Carlo Ancelotti has a very serious challenge for his side - Winning treble and winning every possible trophy available this season. 

“We will try to win every competition this season,” said Carlo Ancelotti frankly when asked about his outlook on new season.

For all ir success over years and amount of trophies won Real Mrid have never been able to win treble. And Carlo Ancelloti wants his current Real Mrid side to change that and win La Liga, Champions League and Copa Del Rey this season. 

Carlo Ancelotti sends caution to wind

While, Ancelotti is hungry to win all trophies available this season, he has sent caution to wind as he me it clear that y are thinking about taking it game by game first and will think about trophies when time comes. 

“We are thinking about winning tomorrow's game, our focus is on this now, not 7 trophies,” said Carlo Ancelotti. 

Carlo Ancelotti furr revealed that retaining La Liga won't be an easy journey as quality of league is very high.

“This league has to be fought with all teams, quality of Spanish football is evident. Not only because of how y play in La Liga, but also because of what Spaniards have been able to do in Euros and Olympics. It is quality football. Barcelona, Atleti, who have strengned well? We have to fight for everything, that’s how it will be. It will be a fun League,” said Carlo Ancelotti. 

Real Mrid will open ir league campaign away from home and on Sunday, 25th August y will play ir first home game of season at Santiago Bernabeu when y face Real Vallolid.
