Chelsea beat Wolves 5-2 riding on Tammy Abraham's great hat-trick

Chelsea got back to winning ways by a 5-2 away win over Wolves. Tammy Abraham scored an impressive hat-trick but also created an unwanted record for himself.

Tammy Abraham scored a hat trick as Frank Lampard’s young Chelsea side beat Wolverhampton Wanderers 5-2 at Molineux in English Premier League on Saturday. t counting own-goals, Chelsea became first-ever team to have 11 straight Premier League goals scored by players d 21 or younger. Fikayo Tomori put Chelsea ahe with a superb 31st-minute strike and Abraham doubled vant three minutes later. Abraham, who netted twice in each of his previous two games, ded a heer in 41st and a 55th-minute finish to make victory look all but secure for Blues.

Wolves hit back via an Abraham own-goal in 69th, and it was 4-2 in 85th thanks to substitute Patrick Cutrone. Mason Mount got Chelsea’s fifth deep in stopp time. Abraham came off in 77th with an apparent injury, but it didn’t seem serious, with Lampard keen to talk up his chances of making England’s squ for international games next month. Of more concern could be a groin problem for Antonio Rudiger, after German defender was brought off at halftime. “It was more than a precaution because he did feel some pain. We’ll assess it over next couple of days,” said Lampard, whose team hosts Valencia in Champions League on Tuesday. After five games Chelsea has eight points — five more than Wolves in 19th place. Wolves manr Nu Espirito Santo’s verdict was simple: “Too many goals, too many mistakes.”

Young Tammy Abraham was on a roll at Molineux on Saturday as his hat-trick h completely left Wolves clueless. However,  accidentally, Tammy Abraham h also ended up benefitting hosts as well by scoring an own goal. It happened in second half. During 69th minute, Abraham bundled’ Roman Saiss’ heer into his own net. As a result of this, he also created an unwanted record for himself. Tammy Abraham is w first and only player in history of Premier League to register a hat-trick and an own goal in same match.
