Chelsea transfers: List of players bought as Todd Boehly spends €600 Million in transfers

Chelsea went on to splurge a mammoth €600 million in the last two transfer windows. Securing a total of 8 new players in the process including the marquee signing of Enzo Fernandez. Since Todd Boehly's takeover of Chelsea FC from Roman Abramovich last year, the Blues have spent millions of dollars to revamp their squad.

Following an underwhelming first half of the 2022-23 season, Chelsea FC have spent a considerable amount of money in the winter and the summer transfer windows. In the recent winter transfer window, Chelsea have signed a total of 8 players and spent more than €300 million in the process. Having garnered just 29 points in the league table, Chelsea have so far struggled in the 2022-23 English Premier League season and are currently sitting in the 10th position in the league table. However, with the might to make expeditious expenditure the Blues have evidently taken the center stage in the transfer market with the new management led by Todd Boehly making marquee signings in a bid to solidify the squad.

Ever since the culmination of the FIFA World Cup 2022 which took place in Qatar, Chelsea made the World Cup winner Argentine Enzo Fernandez as their primary target and after a sea-saw of negotiations with Benfica, the Blues ended the transfer saga and got their man at €121m on the deadline day.

Before this the 5-time Premier League winners got the complete hold of Malo Gusto from Lyon, Noni Madueke from PSV, Mykhailo Mudryk from Shakhtar Donetsk, Andrey Santos from Vasco da Gama, Benoit Badiashile from Monaco, and David Datro Fofana from Molde at an undisclosed fee. The only loan move that transpired in the process is of Joao Felix from Atletico Madrid. Moreover, Gabriel Slonina who was on loan to Chicago FC has made his way back to Stamford Bridge.
