Lineup predictions for Chelsea vs Liverpool
Tammy Abraham has scored seven league goals so far this season. Following the defeat to Valencia in the Champions League, he termed the upcoming clash against the Reds as a massive game and he takes it as a character test for the team. Both teams will be looking for a win and the Blues will make things go right that went wrong in their clash against Valencia. He will be facing a tough task to get better of the UEFA Player of the year - Virgil van Dijk. But the Anfield side have their own problems in defence. The Reds have earned just one clean sheet this season.
Chelsea will miss a number of players with injuries for this crucial match. Emerson Palmieri, Callum Hudson-Odoi, Reece James, and Antonio Rudiger are likely to miss out. Mason Mount is the recent addition to this list with an ankle injury. French midfielder N’Golo Kante is back in training and might be seen in midfield against Liverpool. With his return, Frank Lampard would be looking to play 4-3-3.
Expected Chelsea lineup: Kepa; Zouma, Christensen, Tomori; Azpilicueta, Jorginho, Kovacic, Alonso; Pulisic, Abraham, Pedro
Expected Liverpool lineup: Adrian; Alexander-Arnold, Matip, Van Dijk, Robertson; Fabinho, Henderson, Wijnaldum; Salah, Mane, Firmino

Trent Alexander-Arnold, Joel Matip, Robertson and van Dijk are expected to be in defence. Meanwhile, Fabinho, Jordan Henderson and Wijnaldum will be behind the forwards.
