Chelsea's Christian Pulisic ruled out of USA squad due to hip injury
Chelsea winger Christian Pulisic picked up a hip injury during Chelsea's 2-0 win over Crystal Palace last weekend. Pulisic will now miss USA's CONCACAF games.

Chelsea may have emerged 2-0 winners at Stamford Bridge last weekend against Crystal Palace in Premier League, but it appears that win may have come at some cost for United States Men's National Team (USMNT). Chelsea's in-form star Christian Pulisic has been ruled out of USA’s CONCACAF Nations League matches against Cana and Cuba. USA manr Gregg Berhalter was hopeful that former Borussia Dortmund man would recover in time for crunch fixture against Cana. However, after assessing Pulisic, Gregg Berhalter said that leaving Pulisic out of squ was in best interest of player.

Christian Pulisic hitting a purple patch
Pulisic signed for Chelsea from Borussia Dortmund for a reported fee of €64 million. USMNT star h a slow start to life in London. However, Pulisic has set Premier League alight in recent weeks. Christian Pulisic was on scoresheet during Chelsea's win over Crystal Palace last weekend. His more impressive showing, however, was in game against Burnley. Pulisic netted a hat-trick at Turf Moor during Premier League Matchday 10 on his first start for Chelsea.

Pulisic was part of initial selection for CONCACAF Nations League fixtures with Cana and Cuba. However, USMNT star picked up a hip injury during win against Crystal Palace last weekend. With five goals in nine top-flight outings, Christian Pulisic is just starting to hit form. His services, refore, will be sorely missed against Cana. USA are currently second in ir group after succumbing to a loss against Cana last time around. Interestingly, during 2-0 loss away to Cana, Christian Pulisic was hauled off after 60 minutes. Chelsea star was n left in tears after being substituted as he settled for a place on bench to watch Cana triumph.
