The A-League suspension news was confirmed due to the coronavirus pandemic but footballers contracted to the league might be out of jobs by the end of May.

Due to coronavirus pandemic, football federation of country has anunced suspension of A-League to prevent spread of coronavirus in Australia. However, re are over 120 players in A-League with contracts that are likely to run out before season is officially over on May 31.

FFA's anuncement of A-League being suspended immediately was anunced in early hours of Tuesday.  update regarding A-League suspension is that games will be played at least until April 22 after assessment of  coronavirus pandemic situation.
