Cristiano Ronaldo just took THREE MINUTES to score since returning from COVID-19: Watch

It took just three minutes for Cristiano Ronaldo to find the net since making his return from COVID-19. The 35-year-old scored a brace as Juve beat Spezia, 4-1.

It took Cristia Ronaldo just three minutes to score after coming back from COVID-19 quarantine. Portuguese superstar came on as a second-half substitute on Sunday, playing his first game for Juventus since 2-2 draw at Roma back end of September. Since draw at Roma, Ronaldo tested positive for COVID-19 t once but thrice, effectively ruling him out of some crucial matches, including a 0-2 loss at home to Barcelona in Champions League group st.

Cristia Ronaldo even appeared to slam PCR testing for COVID-19 on social media after he tested positive for virus for third time, this past week. His COVID test finally returned negative on Friday. While he was t straightway inserted into starting XI on Sunday against Spezia, 35-year-old was introduced in second half with game still at balance.

After both sides found net once in first half, Ronaldo came on in 56th minute, replacing Paulo Dybala on pitch. Three minutes later, former Real Mrid man gave his side le after Alvaro Morata's sent him one-on-one with Spezia goalkeeper Ivan Provedel. Ronaldo showed some quick feet to round-off goalkeeper before slotting ball in an empty net.

rien Rabiot extended Juve's le to 3-1 after Federico Chiesa's well-timed pass sent Frenchman free on goal. Chiesa n went on to earn a crucial penalty for Juventus. Ronaldo scored his second of match, finding back of net with a confident penalty. Juventus won game 4-1.

Sunday's win over Spezia also marked Juventus' first win in Serie A since y were awarded 3-0 win over Napoli last month. Old Ly drew ir following two matches against Crotone and Hellas Verona. It comes as surprise that Juventus' upturn of form on Sunday coincided with Cristia Ronaldo's return to side. 35-year-old scored 31 goals in 33 Serie A appearances last season. This time around, he has alrey scored five goals in just three league appearances.

Ronaldo will w look to get Juve's UCL campaign on track. Old Ly will he to Hungary on Wednesday night for a match against group minws Ferencvaros. Next Sunday, Bianconeri will travel back to Rome for a league fixture against Lazio.
