Cristiano Ronaldo shows no signs of stopping at age of 38, sends Al Nassr into final-WATCH

Cristiano Ronaldo once again stunned the world of football in the Arab Club Championship Cup 2023 during the clash of Al Nasser vs Al Shorta on Wednesday at the Prince Sultan bin Abdul Aziz Stadium. The GOAT of Portugal once again helped his team triumph and reach the final of the competition.

Cristiano Ronaldo’s penalty sends Al-Nassr to the final

In the Arab Club Champions Cup semi-final, Cristiano Ronaldo was a big reason why Al Nassr made it to the final stage. With a spot kick, the Portuguese superstar scored the only goal of the game against Al Shorta. Ronaldo scored his fourth goal in a row for Al Nassr with this goal against Al Shorta, becoming the top goal-scorer of the competition. Al Nassr will play Al Hilal in the final of the Arab Club Champions Cup.

In the second half, Al Nassr kept pressing, and in the 75th minute, Faisal Jasim, the other team's centre-back, fouled Mane inside the penalty box. This gave Al Nassr the chance to score. Ronaldo didn't lose his cool and scored the goal that won the game. Al Shorta had a chance to tie the game in the last minute, but Al Nassr goalie Nawaf Alaqidi made a key save to keep a clean sheet.

Al Shorta vs Al Nassr: Ronaldo shows no signs of stopping at the age of 38

The Portugal National Team and Al-Nassr captain is showing no signs of slowing down at the age of 38. The 5-time Ballon d’Or winner has scored 718 goals and provided 225 assists in 972 games of club football. He was also awarded the Man of the Match award in the semi-final against Al-Shorta.

CR7 joined Al-Nassr for free in January 2023 and now looks forward to his first full season with the Saudi Pro League club. However, ahead of the league, he has a big chance to win his first trophy with the club on August 12, 2023,  while facing Al-Hilal in the final of the Arab Club Championship Cup at the King Fahd Stadium.
