Cristiano Ronaldo welcomes Rangnick to Manchester United, posts classy tribute for Carrick

Ralf Rangnick assumed his role as the new interim manager of Manchester United as Michael Carrick exited the squad, following a 3-2 win over Arsenal on Friday.

Legendary footballer Cristia Ronaldo took to his official Instagram handle on Friday and posted a mess for outgoing caretaker manr of Manchester United, Michael Carrick, and also welcomed newly appointed interim manr of side, Ralf Rangnick. Carrick exited Manchester United following ir 3-2 win over Arsenal in Premier League 2021-22 clash, as Rangnick witnessed Ronaldo scoring twin goals during match.

Carrick earlier represented Old Trafford side from 2006 to 2018, before joining coaching staff of squad and took over baton of team, following Ole Gunns Solskjaer’s sacking in previous month.

Meanwhile, after crossing winning mark for United by scoring a double, Ronaldo hailed Carrick in his Instagram post by saying United legend was displayed a class act during his time as a player and is also capable of becoming a great coach in future. Adding thing is impossible for Carrick, Ronaldo added he is proud to have shared bench with him both as a player and Carrick as manr. Ronaldo also welcomed newly appointed interim manr for rest of season, Ralf Rangnick, who joins Red Devils after his time with Bundesliga team RB Leipzig.

Carrick represented United in a total of 464 appearances and picked five Premier League titles with Old Trafford side before joining coaching staff, first under Jose Mourinho n Solskjaer. As per AP, anuncing his exit from legendary club, Carrick said, “ My time at this great club will always rank as best years of my career. At same time, United’s football director John Murtough also hailed Carrick for being one of best midfielders in history of club. Rangnick w assumes manr's role for rest of season, starting with United's Premier League 2021-22 clash against Crystal Palace on December 5.
