Dani Carvajal's take on El Clasico postponement
Dani Carvajal went on to say that it would be easier for Real Madrid to reclaim the Champions League if Barcelona failed to make it through to the knockout stages of the Champions League. Speaking on the postponement of the El Clasico fixture which is now scheduled to be played on December 18 at Camp Nou, the Real Madrid full-back said that the decision was taken due to security issues. In the interview, Dani Carvajal also backed Real Madrid teammate Gareth Bale, saying that he has no doubts over the Welshman's commitment to the club despite the winger not featuring for Real Madrid in recent weeks and still reporting for international duty with Wales.

Barcelona are currently top of their group in the Champions League with eight points after two wins and two draws. Interestingly, one of those draws came in their last Champions League outing against Slavia Praha. Even though the game was played at Camp Nou, Ernesto Valverde's men failed to break down the visiting side, thanks to the heroics of Slavia Praha goalkeeper Ondrej Kolar.

Both, Barcelona and Real Madrid are also top of the LaLiga table with 25 points each. Barcelona, however, edge Real Madrid currently on goal difference.
