Daniel James, Ryan Giggs criticised over actions after concussion
Daniel James and Ryan Giggs have faced heavy criticism from Headway after Giggs labelled the former as "streetwise", after suffering from a head injury.

Wales international and Manchester United footballer Daniel James and Manr of Wales National Team, Ryan Giggs have faced heavy criticism from brain injury charity- Headway after Giggs labelled Manchester United winger "streetwise". According to reports, James suffered a concussion after Croatian defender Domagoj Vida clattered him in draw with Croatia. After incident, he received treatment for about 15 minutes during half-time, however, he was on field again. According to Giggs, physio had come in and conducted all concussions tests, but he was fine. 21-year-old and Giggs have faced criticism for t understanding seriousness of concussions.
Headway's criticism
According to reports, Chief Executive of Headway, Peter McCabe criticizing James and Giggs stated that "If that is case and James was ‘acting’, it raises serious questions about player’s understanding of seriousness of concussion." Furr, he stated that y have t only put his medical team under intense and unfair scrutiny but also he has set a dangerous example for those who are watching him at home. McCabe also raised concerns over use of terms like 'streetwise'. He added that it is unacceptable for players to use concussion protocols for tactical gains.

Ryan Mason's comment
Former Tottenham defender Ryan Mason has appeared to be critical of situation on social media. Hull City midfielder was forced to retire at of 26 after suffering from a fractured skull in 2017.
