Egyptian goalkeeper Mahmoud Gad has taken over the netizens on Twitter for his incredible double save reflex on September 23 for the Engineering for the Petroleum and Process Industries Sporting Club (ENPPI SC) in the Egyptian Premier League. The club is currently placed 18th in the Egyptian Premier League points table. According to reports, during the game, the 22-year-old rushed out of the box to head the ball away against the Pyramids before sprinting back to make a last-ditch save very close to the goal-line.

What happened in the match

Despite Gad's extraordinary double-save attempt for his team, his team ENPPI SC still lost the match to the Pyramids. The final score was 0-4. Referring to the Pyramids, while Omar Gareb started scoring in the 29th minute of the match, Abdallah Said doubled the lead in the 55th minute. According to reports, the ENPPI SC will play their next match against Al Gaish in the Egyptian Premier League (EPL).
