El Clasico: Barcelona to oppose Real Madrid's push for a venue change

Next week's 'El Clasico' encounter between eternal arch-rivals Barcelona and Real Madrid reportedly could be moved from Camp Nou to the Santiago Bernabeu.

El Clasico venue and date left in a shroud of mystery

re is a lot of uncertainty surrounding this season's first El Clasico which is scheduled to be held on Saturday, October 26 at Camp u. But recent political unrest within  Catalonia vicinity has given rise to security concerns regarding players from both teams. While Barcelona maintains that game will t face any problems from local supporters, Real Mrid are asking LaLiga officials to shift El Clasico from Camp u to Santiago Bernabeu. As per reports in Spanish media,  Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) and an independent body will decide as to wher or t LaLiga game will go ahe. Barcelona and Real Mrid are said to be against switch of venues, which means that game could be rescheduled to December 2019 after conclusion of political unrest.
