Manchester United loanee Dean Henderson has got a last-minute call up to join England's squad for the upcoming International games. The uncapped goalkeeper, who currently plays for Sheffield United, has been added to the squad with Ross Barkley and Tom Heaton ruled-out due to their respective injuries. Gareth Southgate has opted for Dean Henderson as Aston Villa keeper, Heaton, caught a calf injury in training. England have decided not to add anyone in place of Ross Barkley. Henderson featured in Sheffield United's all 12 games so far in Premier League 2019-20. The 22-year-old was also included in England's last month's squad after Heaton was forced to withdraw from the squad.
An FA statement read that Ross Barkley and Tom Heaton have been ruled out of England's forthcoming UEFA EURO 2020 qualifiers through injury. It also stated that goalkeeper Dean Henderson has been added to Gareth Southgate's squad in place of Aston Villa's Heaton but no replacements are planned for Chelsea's Barkley. They added that Henderson will arrive at St George's Park on Monday as England's now 26-man squad begin preparations for their final fixtures of 2019.
