Defending champions Manchester City and current table-toppers Liverpool had the same number of points at this stage last season (26 each). City made their way to a 0-1 win against Tottenham Hotspur while Liverpool ran out comfortable winners against Cardiff on Matchday 10 in 2018.
Chelsea registered a comfortable 4-0 win over Burnley at this stage in the season last year. Alvaro Morata, Willian, Ross Barkley, and Ruben Loftus-Cheek were on target for the Blues who were firmly in the title race trailing Liverpool and Manchester City by two points. Arsenal and Spurs followed Chelsea at fourth and fifth spots in the league standings. Incidentally, Arsenal were held to a 2-2 draw against Crystal Palace on Matchday 10 last season too.
Eddie Howe's Bournemouth were in the sixth spot with 20 points from 10 games. Watford, who are without a win from 10 games in this year's Premier League season, were remarkably seventh in the league last year followed by English giants Manchester United at number seven in the list.
West Ham, Leicester City, Southampton and the usual middle-placed clubs occupied the lower half of the Premier League table.
