Euro 2020 qualifiers: Bulgaria vs England player ratings

England walloped Bulgaria 6-0 at the Stadion Vasil Levski, Sofia on October 15, 2019 in their Group A match of the Euro 2020 qualifiers. This result pretty much secures England's qualification to the main event. England were the better side by a mile and every player justified their inclusion into the starting line-up after a shock1-2 defeat in their last match in Prague against Czech Republic. Raheem Sterling, Harry Kane and Marcus Rashford all found the net for the away side.

Gareth Southgate made four changes for England. Tyrone Mings made his international debut following his impressive performances with the Premier League club Aston Villa this season. Although this was a match which was halted twice thanks to racist chants by the fans, England kept their cool to perform admirably well. Ross Barkley scored a first-half brace, Sterling added goals on either side of the half, Kane scored one and Rashford pretty much wrapped up proceedings with a wonder goal. Bulgaria had a tough task right from the kick-off, having made as many as seven changes from the starting XI. Captain Ivelin Popos stood out for the home side as he managed to test Jordan Pickford a couple of times in the game. This is the fifth time in 2019 that England have scored four or more goals in a match. Meanwhile, Bulgaria are winless in the calendar year so far.
