'The worst Manchester United signing ever': Harry Maguire brutally trolled for own goal

Harry Maguire got at the end of an own strike in the added time of the UEFA Europa League tie between Manchester United and Sevilla. The match ended at 2-2.

Thursday night UEFA Europa League encounter between Manchester United and Sevilla witnessed many attributes of game. game had goals, unfortunate injuries, and two own strikes. Following culmination of game, one of bearers of own goals, Harry Maguire has been heavily criticised on social media.

He came in at 45th minute after Raphael Varane got injured and was almost able to perform his defending duties with utmost diligence, but in dying minutes of game, Harry Maguire couldn't stop free header of El Nesyri from going in net, even after being stationed as a blocking figure. Harry Maguire couldn't adjust to pace at which ball come at him and unfortunately became enforcer of Sevilla's 2nd goal that brought team on level terms with Man United. However, Maquire was t only United player to strike an own goal on night as before him in 84th minute Tyrell Malacia's unlucky deflection saw freekick of Jesus Navas meeting net. But it is Maguire, who is receiving majority of stick on social media.
