Shandong Luneng suffered their second straight defeat in the Chinese Super League on Thursday as they lost 1-0 to Jiangsu Suning.

Shandong's best chance to score in the first half came right on 45 minutes, only for Duan Liuyu's volley struck the woodwork.

Shandong continued to dominate after the break and Marouane Fellaini's header on 61 minutes was denied by the post.

Jiangsu then compounded Shandong's frustrating night four minutes later with Eder Martins getting the breakthrough to seal the three points.
