finding follows an investigation brought about by leaked emails and documents which appeared in German magazine Der Spiegel.UEFA said City had broken ir rules by "overstating its sponsorship revenue in its accounts and in break-even information submitted to Uefa between 2012 and 2016", and added that club "failed to cooperate in investigation".

club said in a statement y were "disappointed but t surprised" by "prejudicial" decision and say y will appeal.City will be allowed to play in this season's competition where y face Real Madrid in round of 16.
