Gareth Bale banned by Wales coach Rob Page from playing golf during FIFA World Cup 2022

With just over a week remaining for FIFA World Cup 2022 to begin in Qatar, Wales manr Rob P has put an early ban on Gareth Bale from playing golf. Welshman is a well-kwn lover of sport, having faced severe criticism for his habit of playing golf during his time at Real Mrid. Bale was often criticised during his time at Santiago Bernabeu for his golfing habits, with some going to extent of stating that Welshman prioritized golf over playing for Real Mrid.

On that occasion, Bale stood behind a banner that re, "Wales. Golf. Mrid. In That Order." It is believed that banner was a direct response to former Real Mrid star Predrag Mijatovic, who h claimed that Bale prioritizes playing for Wales and playing golf over playing for Los Blancos. With games coming thick and fast at FIFA World Cup, it seems unlikely that 33-year-old would have much time to play golf.
