Gareth Bale injury: The 31-year-old was spotted icing his ankle after being subbed off in the game against West Brom, leaving Wales and Spurs concerned.

Tottenham earned a hard-fought 1-0 win over West Brom on Sunday but were still left concerned over Gareth Bale's ankle injury. 31-year-old winger made his first Premier League start for club since rejoining Spurs from Real Madrid on a loan deal in summer and was replaced by Lucas Moura in 78th minute. After game, Bale was spotted with an ice pack on his right ankle with medics treating star forward, who watched end of game from bench.

Bale was subbed off in 78th minute after a relatively poor display on his first Premier League start of season and looked to be in some pain while medics were applying a band around his ankle. procedure of using an ice pack is to generally reduce swelling on an injury but Spurs have t confirmed any injury for Bale as of yet, r have y given a timescale on how long Welshman might be sidelined.
It's still unclear if Bale was being treated by physios as a mere precaution and wher he will be fit to play for Wales against USA on Thursday.
