Kylian Mbappe offers a bold opinion on his contractual situation
Mbappe has become quite a sensation after coming to light. With a World Cup win at the age of 19 and reaching the Final before turning 24, the French striker has turned heads with his sheer ability and performance. While he is a highly touted subject for teams like Real Madrid and Liverpool, Mbappe said he is yet to decide on whether he wants to stay or leave the club on a free transfer in the summer period.
"I haven't made my decision yet. I haven't made a choice. With the agreement I had with the president in the summer, my decision is not important as we managed to protect all the parties and preserved the serenity of the club for the challenges to come, which is the most important. So we will say that it [the decision] is secondary," Mbappe said the correspondents as quoted by ESPN.
"If I know what I want to do, why wait? It would make no sense, but like I have said, the most important are the titles. We have won one already, and we are determined to win more. My personal situation, inside the club, nobody talks about it, it doesn't interest much," the French Striker added.
Before unexpectedly declaring a U-turn to remain at the Parc des Princes, Kylian Mbappe was on the verge of signing a free agent contract with Real Madrid in the summer of 2022. Mbappe may board the free agency bandwagon as the summer of 2024 draws near, at which point the clubs will present their offers for the striker.
