'He Made A Step Forward': Pep Confirms Huge Kevin De Bruyne Injury Boost For Manchester City
Ahead of Manchester City's clash against Bournemouth, Pep Guardiola has given a huge injury boost regarding star player Kevin De Bruyne.

The reigning Premier League champions and league leaders Manchester City are in midst of an injury crisis given Ballon d'Or winner Rodri is going to miss the entire season with ACL. While all of Kevin De Bruyne, Kyle Walker, Jack Grealish are also out injured.
However, ahead of facing, Bournemouth on Saturday, Pep Guardiola has given Manchester City a huge injury boost regarding star midfielder Kevin De Bruyne.

Kevin De Bruyne injury boost
Kevin De Bruyne has been out injured for Manchester City since picking up a groin injury in the club's Champions League encounter against Inter Milan back in September. The injury was worse than expected and in the midweek Pep Guardiola confirmed that the Belgian National Team captain was suffering with a lot of pain.
Pep confirmed ahead of their clash against Tottenham midweek that De Bruyne was expected to return post the international break. Ahead of facing Bournemouth, Pep said that De Bruyne is feeling better compared to midweek.

“Kevin De Bruyne is now getting better, he made a step forward. The doctor said to me he made a step forward in terms of reducing the pain,” revealed Pep Guardiola ahead of Bournemouth clash.

Pep asks for a bigger squad
Ahead of the game against Bournemouth, Pep confirmed that Manchester City have only 13 fit players to select from for their PL clash this weekend but said every player has to deal with that.
“If next season I know I will have 7-8 players injured then I need a bigger squad….It is impossible to win fight for titles with such injuries, literally impossible, because human beings have limits," said Pep.

Kevin De Bruyne is going to potentially miss the games against Bournemouth, Sporting CP, and Brighton. He could return to action when Manchester City travel to North London to face Tottenham in the Premier League fixture on Saturday, 23rd November.
