32 teams part of UEFA Champions League group st this season have been split into four pots. Pot 1 consists of UEFA Champions League winners, UEFA Europa League winners and champions of six highest-ranked nations. Pots 2 to 4 are determined by club coefficient rankings.

Club coefficient is a metric which is determined by sum of all points won over past five years or by association over same period – whichever is higher. While putting teams into different groups, several considerations need to be kept in mind, with one of m being that teams from same league can’t be put in same group.
