The Indian football team is taking on China in their Asian games opening encounter. Led by Sunil Chhetri, Igor Stimac named a pretty strong lineup as India will seek a strong start to their Asian Cup campaign. The Blue Tigers Blue Tigers are also scheduled to face Bangladesh and Myanmar later in other group-stage matches.
China took the lead first as Tianyi Gao took the chance to latch due to some lacklustre defending from the Indian team. But it was Rahul KP who hogged the headlines for his brilliant goal. The Indian youngster received a ball on the right flank and outpaced his marker before latching a shot past the hapless keeper.
