Injured Mohamed Salah to miss Egypt's AFCON matches against Kenya and Comoros
Egypt international & Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah has suffered an injury. He will not be playing the National team's two matches against Kenya and Comoros.

Protective boot
Egypt national football team posted pictures on Twitter which showed players huddled toger, and Salah could be clearly seen with a protective boot around his left leg. In ar picture, he is seen sitting on bench with two ors. Egyptian has been suffering from niggles since Liverpool's match against Leicester City on October 5. He has, however, has gone on playing and has t suffered any effects of injury in his game. Egyptian also scored a goal against high profile clash against Manchester City on Sunday evening. In a very brief statement, Egypt national team said that " injury needs a period of treatment to recover". Club manr Jurgen Klopp h substituted Salah in match against Tottenham and after game, he h said that it was thing serious. He said, "Mo's problem is his ankle — it got sore longer game went on, but it is t a massive issue. It makes sense to try to push it through. We have or players and we h options to change it and we did. It's thing serious. It's t massive - it will disappear one day, but it's still a bit re at moment."
Salah has been in an exceptional form over last three years and has been one of club's stand out player, leing Merseyside to two European finals and one Champions League trophy. In his first season at Liverpool in 2017, he scored 32 goals winning Golden boot award. In his second season, he shared award with teammate Sio Mane and Arsenal's Pierre-Emrick Aubameyang at 22 goals. This season, he has faced injury problems but has still mand to score six goals and assist three goals.
