Inter Milan donate €100,000 for Coronavirus research as Italy reels under fear
Serie A giants Inter Milan have donated an amount of €100,000 towards Coronavirus research after more than 100 people succumbed to the menace of the virus.

Serie A giants Inter Milan have donated €100,000 towards coronavirus research. Italy has been gripped with outbreak of contagious virus. It is reported that over 100 people have died in country alrey. Meanwhile, number of those infected with virus has gone on to increase in past few days.

Inter Milan president Steven Zhang has donated amount to Department of Biomedical and Clinical Sciences at Sacco Hospital in Milan. This anuncement was me by club recently amid a growing number of cases in European country. Italian government, on Thursday, h anunced that all sporting events would be played behind closed doors. This also included Serie A games which would be played without presence of fans for next one month. It is also reported that government would extend one-month period beyond April if situation doesn’t improve.

coronavirus outbreak in Italy has seen postponement of several Serie A fixtures in past two weeks. Inter Milan were to play against Juventus last week but game has been postponed to Sunday, March 8. Meanwhile, Coppa Italia semi-final clash between Juventus and AC Milan has also been postponed indefinitely.
