Internacional continue training sessions even with spike of COVID-19 cases in Brazil

Internacional resumed their training session this Monday in Porto Alegre after comes and goes from local authorities on whether practices would be allowed by clubs due to the COVID-19 outbreak

Internacional resumed ir training session this Monday in Porto Alegre after comes and goes from local authorities on wher practices would be allowed by clubs due to COVID-19 outbreak. A decree by Rio Grande do Sul state government this weekend furr limits open activities, making both Inter and its main rival Gremio anunce cancellation of training sessions. After furr analysis from legal department from both sides and consultations with government, y decided to come back and resume practices respecting social distancing.

Internacional and Gremio are only clubs in Brazil to return to football, despite spike in number of cases of COVID-19 in country. Brazil is set to become next hot spot for COVID-19 in world, with more than 160,000 confirmed cases of disease and 11,000 deaths.
