Mohammed Salah opines on whether Lionel Messi would survive in the Premier League

In a recent interview, Mohamed Salah discussed his ideas on how Lionel Messi might perform in the English Premier League. Many consider the Argentine superstar, who plays for the Major League Soccer (MLS) team right now, to be the best footballer that has ever lived along with Cristiano Ronaldo who has already proved himself in Europe's top leagues.

Salah boasted about Messi's "divine talent" and stressed that the former Barcelona icon's influence will only grow in the Premier League. Mohammed Salah said:

“If he actually played he would be the top scorer and star. This is a natural thing.”

"You are talking about the best player in the world, wherever he goes, he will play football, and football for Messi is a divine talent, so he will do as he does in any league,"

“Even his numbers against English teams are very large I consider him the best in history. I had the honor to meet him in matches,”

Mohamed Salah's tenure at Liverpool is in doubt due to the impending expiration of his contract in 2025, and the club has not yet decided on its plan of action after Jurgen Klopp left the club this year and Liverpool eyes to rebuild the team under the new coach.

Addressing Salah's contractual status is of utmost importance to newly appointed manager Arne Slot, as he prepares the club for a challenging upcoming season. Although there is some ambiguity, the fact that the 32-year-old winger has been participating in pre-season with Slot indicates that it is unlikely for him to leave Liverpool in the current transfer window.
