A World Cup, the Champions League and the Ballon d'Or – only a few players have bagged the holy trinity of accolades in world football. Former AC Milan and Brazil legend Kaka, however, is one of the few. Which is why the ex-Real Madrid star was invited to play a charity match donning Brazil's colours against ex-Israeli internationals in a 'peace match' in Haifa, Israel.

A star-studded Brazil graced the field against Israel. The line-up included Ronaldinho, Cafu, Rivaldo, Roberto Carlos and Bebeto. As the game progressed well, the 50-minute mark threw up a pleasant surprise. AC Milan legend Kaka received the ball and turned to launch an attack when the referee blew the whistle. The 2007 Ballon d'Or winner duly stopped and faced the referee. Much to his surprise, the referee brandished a yellow card to the Brazilian legend. While Kaka stood there, utterly confused, the referee put the yellow card back in her pocket and proceeded to reach for her cellphone.

Kaka's bizarre booking

It turns out that the referee only showed a yellow card to Kaka because she wanted a picture with the former Real Madrid star. Kaka duly obliged and bent to fit in the frame. It's safe to say that this was the most bizarre booking that the Brazilian star has received in his career. The incident occurred when Brazil were 3-2 up in the game. Kaka himself was on the scoresheet after the former Real Madrid playmaker nestled a fine finish from outside the box to register Brazil's third goal for the night. Kaka called time on his playing career back in 2017 when he chose to play his final game with Orlando City in the MLS.
