LeBron James claims Michael Jordan's retirement in 1993 reduced him to tears

Lakers star LeBron James revealed that he could not hold back his tears when NBA legend Michael Jordan announced his first retirement in 1993.

Just like rest of NBA fans across globe, Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James is also currently streaming Michael Jordan's documentary,  Last Dance. Episodes seven and eight of series were released on Sunday in US which spoke about Michael Jordan retirement situation after Bulls won ir third NBA championship. LeBron James made an interesting revelation regarding same when he took to Twitter to talk about two new episodes of Last Dance.

Lakers star LeBron James is a self-proclaimed Michael Jordan fan just like many or NBA stars currently playing in league. It came as little surprise, refore, that LeBron James claimed to have shed tears upon news of Michael Jordan retirement in 1993 even though he was just nine years old. Why did Michael Jordan retire? Reportedly, Michael Jordan claimed to have 'burned out' and 'lacked motivation', which is why he felt need to step back from NBA despite being at peak of his career. Michael Jordan had recently won his third NBA championship with Bulls and shocked world by anuncing his retirement soon after that triumph. However,  Bulls legend returned to game in 1995. Michael Jordan made a stunning comeback and went on to win three more NBA titles with Bulls before moving on.
