On Tuesday, France Prime Minister Edouard Philippe anunced that sporting events will take place in country at least until September, due to COVID-19 plague. This effectively led to a confirmation of Ligue 1 cancelled reports with chance of hosting games behind closed doors. Ligue 1 defending champions Paris Saint-Germain earned €56.82 million in TV rights during 2018-19 season but surprisingly, Huddersfield Town, who finished last on Premier League table earned nearly double of PSG's revenue through TV sponsorship, raking in €109.7 million last season.
