Lionel Messi slams Barcelona after Real Madrid title win, says Napoli will beat them

Barcelona captain Lionel Messi says the club will need to be self-critical about their performances after losing the LaLiga title to Real Madrid.

While Real Madrid were busy wrapping ir 34th LaLiga title, Barcelona succumbed to sixth defeat of ir domestic campaign against an inspiring Osasuna. Jose Arnaiz opened scoring Camp u before Lionel Messi equalised with a trademark free-kick. However, a late winner from Roberto Torres helped Osasuna steal all three points, ending Barca's 42-game unbeaten run at home.

Lionel Messi blasts Barcelona after yet ar dismal performance

Argentine maestro, who has been one of few shining lights for orwise dismal Barcelona side, blasted his side's performances in recent months, claiming y risk losing to Napoli in Champions League if form does t improve. "We didn't want to end season like this but it represents how season has gone," Messi told Movistar after Thursday night's game. "We were a very erratic, very weak, low-intensity team. We lost a lot of points and today's game is a summary of season."

Barcelona's captain n went on to laud ir arch-rivals Real Madrid for doing job and securing LaLiga title, but he insisted his side did help m along way this season. Lionel Messi furr suggested club will w have to self-critical in order to regain ir confidence and form ahead of Champions League match against Napoli. "If we want to win Champions League, we have to change a lot. If we continue like this, we will lose game against Napoli," he added. 

Barcelona's latest defeat leaves m seven points behind Real Madrid in league. Messi recalled Barcelona's Champions League exits in hands of AS Roma and Liverpool in recent years. 34-year-old admitted players are angry at mselves, and says he understands  anger from fans, who are becoming more impatient with club and ir recent run of form.
