It remains to be seen when two of football's greatest ever players - Lionel Messi and Cristia Ronaldo - finally hang up ir boots. Both players enjoyed a fierce rivalry while playing for Barcelona and Real Mrid in LaLiga before Cristia Ronaldo moved to Juventus last season.

Lionel Messi won his sixth Ballon d'Or award last year. He is in contention for this year's prize too. Cristia Ronaldo has also hit peak form since start of 2020.
