With Alisson Becker in goal, Virgil van Van Dijk commanding at back, Andrew Robertson and Trent Alexander-Arld reinventing full-back role, captain Jordan Henderson being driving force in midfield and attacking trio of Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmi and Mohamed Salah terrorising defences across land, Klopp assembled arguably greatest team that Anfield had ever seen. He changed Liverpool from doubters to believers and made m achievers.

What comes next for Liverpool?

summer transfer window this year saw Liverpool purchase likes of Thiago Alcantara and Diogo Jota, with latter already having made a significant impact. Jota scored nine goals in 15 appearances before suffering a knee injury last week. He is likely to remain sidelined until February.
