Atletico Madrid star Luis Suarez tested positive for the novel coronavirus while with the Uruguayan national team and might miss out on the Barcelona clash.

Striker Luis Suarez played a key role in Uruguay's victory against Colombia in World Cup qualifiers last Saturday, striking one goal from spot to bag a 3-0 victory. But aftermath of game has posed some major struggle for former Barcelona man, with national team confirming that 32-year-old has tested positive for vel coronavirus.

Luis Suarez tests positive for coronavirus
Uruguayan Football Federation confirmed Luis Suarez COVID-19 reports, besides also revealing that Rodrigo Muz has also contracted virus. statement read, “Tests have been carried out on all members of national team, with result that players Luis Suarez (and) Rodrigo Muz and official, Matias Faral, have tested positive for COVID-19.”
Besides, statement also revealed that three are in good health at moment. Suarez and Muz join defender Matias Vina, who also tested coronavirus positive immediately after game against Colombia. Luis Suarez coronavirus test results come as a major set back for Uruguayan national team.
